Terms of Use
Fair terms for a clear service.
These terms describe the ChromTV software and your responsibility when connecting a third-party media service.
8 August 2026
1. The ChromTV service
ChromTV is media-player and client software. It does not provide or sell TV channels, programmes, streams, films, series, provider subscriptions or third-party content. Features depend on the compatible service you choose to connect.
2. Your responsibility
You may connect only services and access only content that you are legally authorised to use. You are responsible for following your provider's terms and applicable law. You must not use ChromTV to infringe rights, bypass access controls or access an unauthorised service.
3. Third-party services
Provider availability, metadata, programme guides, artwork, stream quality, formats, catch-up archives and content rights are controlled by third parties. ChromTV is not affiliated with those providers or rights holders and cannot guarantee their continued availability, accuracy or compatibility.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
Eligible in-app purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions are processed through your Apple Account and the App Store. Prices, billing period and any introductory offer are shown by the App Store before purchase. Deleting a ChromTV account does not cancel the separate Apple subscription. Manage or cancel it in Apple's subscription settings and use Restore Purchases when an eligible subscription must be associated with a new ChromTV account. Apple's applicable purchase terms also apply.
5. Intellectual property
The ChromTV name, interface and original ChromTV assets remain the property of their applicable owner. Third-party services, content, trademarks and metadata remain the property of their respective owners. Connecting a service does not transfer rights to that content.
6. Acceptable use and availability
You must not interfere with the app or its cloud service, attempt unauthorised access or use it unlawfully. Access to cloud features may be limited where necessary for security, maintenance or misuse. These terms do not remove consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Privacy, changes and contact
The software provider and rights holder is Kenneth Rene Hansen. ChromTV and Chrominom are product and brand names, not a separate registered legal entity. The Privacy Policy explains data handling. These terms may change when the product or legal requirements change; the current date is shown above. Contact chromtv@chrominom.com.
